Fire wall

Fire is the bane of every business owner. The consequences can be profound, not only for the building but also for the continuity of the company. The fire safety requirements of the Building Act are primarily aimed at being able to flee safely and keeping the fire under control. That makes the limitation of the scale and the scope of damage a matter for designers and builders. Concrete International would be delighted to advise you on these matters!

Concrete does not burn and is highly fire resistant. A concrete structure is an effective fire shield and makes extinguishing a fire easier because the structure remains standing for a longer period of time. In addition, the spreading of fire stops due to the separation into compartments and so the fire damage and the risk of environmental pollution is reduced.
